The Acid Wreath, was a series of three 2.6′x4′ ft. dyed plywood panels exhibited at Synchronicity Space, LA. in the exhibition from which it gleans its name, Acid Wreath and the Post-Everything. Melted Brain Mess /M/Negalith. All La LA Land: Beyond the Dead End.

Eric Timothy Carlson studied in Minneapolis Minnesota, and currently resides in Brooklyn, New York, where he maintains a practice of intuitive image making, often focused on the manipulation of cultural and symbolic contents inherent to glyph and image.

The artist exhibits internationally; produces artists books; and with the collective Hardland/Heartland has shown work in institutions such as Minneapolis Institute of Arts (MN), Van Abbe Museum (NL), and the Walker Arts Center (MN).

As Crazylegs we’ve teamed up with Dimensions, meaning we’ll be playing and partying at the festival this September as well as throwing them a launch party in Bristol next month, and we’d like as many of you to be there as possible. Livity sound is a new project from Bristol based producer Peverelist and fellow heads Kowton and Asusu. 4 killer releases deep and the project is already shaping up to be great, with each release unique from the last but with a common audible aesthetic. Percussive techno and house through rugged garage to slow grime (see Kowton’s ‘More Games’!) this vinyl only label is a perfect example of some of the incredible new music coming out of Bristol right now.

Pev, Kowton and Asusu recently debuted their Livity Sound live show in a tiny basement below Stokes Croft (see below) and have since been asked by the Hessle Audio crew to showcase it for the first time outside of Bristol at tonight’s Hessle takeover at Fabric, London.
